Loved Deepika Padukone's Mumbai reception outfit? Here's how designer duo Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla created it

Deepika Padukone opted for ace designer duo Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla for her Mumbai wedding reception of today and while she looks resplendent in it, the designers will tell you how they designed it.

Ever since Deepika Padukone got married, people started complimenting her for her beautiful sartorial picks during all the wedding festivities. But, this time she didn't choose Sabyasachi for her Mumbai wedding reception and rather opted for the ace designer duo Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla and while she looked resplendent in the outfit, the designer duo explained how they created her saree and the dupatta. 
“We are thrilled to create this ensemble for Deepika. She's worn our clothes with a passion for years. Deepika's beauty and grace are ethereal. And she chose Chikan. It is our ultimate love. And her appreciation for finesse and elegance made it her choice too.  Ivory and Gold do her and the occasion full justice. She is an absolute dream in it”, said the duo. 
The breathtakingly beautiful Chiffon Chikankari Ensemble in ivory that Deepika wore features a trail and is styled with a demi-sari and sumptuous chadar as a head dupatta. Hand embroidered by the women artisans of Lucknow, the intricate, ton sur ton thread embroidery comes alive as millions of sequins, Swarovski crystals and gold zardozi embroidery enhance and embellish it to perfection. Dramatic zardozi lace borders edge both the demi sari and the chadar. A gold zardozi, Resham and crystal blouse featuring a deep neck and delicate floral motifs with bugle bead and pearl tassels offsets the pristine chikankari to perfection.
The designer duo Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla not just dressed Deepika but the entire Padukone family. While her parents, Prakash Padukone and Ujjala Padukone were in chikankari, Anisha Padukone was in Resham.
