Deepika Padukone’s airport appearances rarely go undocumented, but this particular one saw the paparazzi in a frenzy. Padukone and Ranveer Singh left for their wedding in Lake Como, Italy over the weekend, and their appearance caused quite the stir at the airport. Both stars picked all-white looks for the occasion, with Padukone sporting an ivory turtleneck sweater with a matching midi skirt—an elegant choice for an airport outfit.

Keeping things easy for travel, the actor opted for sophisticated ensemble that looked as cosy as a skirt set can ever manage to be, and wore it with a pair of complementary nude pumps. A stack of minimal gold bracelets and a watch were the only jewellery spotted on her. While Deepika Padukone is expected to be decked out in Sabyasachi couture through her wedding, this look was a promise of all the sartorial treats that are soon to come our way.

Most times, Padukone chooses to go makeup-free during travel. For this appearance however, she went with poker straight hair, nude makeup and a heavy dose of mascara. Beau Ranveer Singh, who is easily the sartorial maximalist in this relationship, picked an ivory sherwani and white sneakers for travel. While both stars arrived separately at the airport, their attempt at nailing couple dressing was evident.
